Somos arte!

No podemos evitar año tras año, resistirmos a despedir el verano y el buen tiempo, pero la llegada del otoño siempre nos trae buenas cosas. Entre ellas, iniciativas culturales como las que os presento esta semana: la segunda edición del Festival barcelonés WeArt.

We can’t avoid every year resisting to say ‘good-bye’ to the summer and the nice weather, but the autumn arrival always brings us good things. Such as cultural iniciatives like the one I present to you this week: the second edition of Barcelona’s WeArt Festival.

En las palabras de las organizadoras: ‘WeArt Festival es un apasionante evento anual en el calendario cultural barcelonés y es el único festival de arte que reúne las siguientes disciplinas: New Media Art, Artes Plásticas, Fotografía, Ilustración y Street Art’.

In the words of the organizers: ‘WeArt Festival is a fresh, new and exciting event on Barcelona’s cultural calendar. It is unique in that the only cultural event that includes: New Media Art, Visual Arts, Photography, Illustration and Street Art’.

Este evento multidisciplinar nace para dar una oportunidad de exhibición a los artistas cuya obra es capaz de dialogar con el espectador; por lo que en este proyecto la relación con el receptor, cobra más importancia que el propio trabajo artístico.

This multiplatform event was created to provide an opportunity of exhibition to the artists whose artcraft is capable to set dialogue with the audience, so in this project the relation with the receptor gains prominence over the artistic work.
